A successful Eress Forum 2019

Eress forum 2019 in Brussels last week was a success. This Railway Energy Forum gathered 165 participants (100 onsite and 65 virtual ones). Representatives from DG Move (EU Commission), CER, EIM, suppliers of energy meters, diverse train operators and infrastructure managers from different countries in Europe were there.
"We have received very good feedback after the forum, because of the relevant content of the program and the fact that this is a "one-of-a-kind event," said Dyre Martin Gulbrandsen, Director of Eress.
Since 2007, Eress has established an arena for cooperation and railway energy discussion in Europe.
"What began as a railway meeting for the Nordic region has become an established European Forum. The Forum is now an expected annual meeting point between legislators in Europe and all other parties involved in the railway energy sector. And this is very satisfying", concludes Eress chairman and Bane NOR's Energy Director, Terje Stømer.
