Dyre Martin Gulbrandsen
Dyre Martin Gulbrandsen holds the position as Managing Director of Eress. He has been involved and responsible for the development, implementation and daily operation of the settlement system Erex from its beginning.
Mr. Gulbrandsen is Master of Science in industrial economics and technology management and is certificated in financial energy analysis. He has long experience in working within the energy and railway market.
Since 2003 Mr. Gulbrandsen has been working as Energy Trading Manager at the Norwegian National Rail Administration. His areas of responsibility include energy procurement, settlement and billing in the Norwegian railway network.

Raimondo Orsini
Raimondo Orsini, Director of Sustainable Development Foundation.
Raimondo Orsini is 44 years old, he lives in Rome with his wife and two daughters, where he is working since 2008 as the director of the Sustainable Development Foundation, a not for profit “think-tank” founded by green economy companies and a network of sustainable development experts.
The Foundation cooperates with governments, private corporations and administration bodies, through technical studies, lobbying, research and consultancy.
Expert in sustainable mobility, member of EU, CEN and EEA expert groups, Raimondo has worked from 2005 to 2008 for the International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris, as energy and environment senior advisor and chairman of UIC Network energy/CO2.
From 1998 to 2005, he worked in FS/Trenitalia (a state-owned Italian railways company) as environment team leader.
Author of many publications, lecturer and speaker in international conferences on sustainability issues.

Enno Wiebe
Enno Wiebe is seconded from Deutsche Bahn to the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) to work in Brussels as senior advisor for ERA and research related issues.
He is the CER coordinator for various support groups like infrastructure, energy, noise, cross-acceptance and safety in railway tunnels. In his previous job at the International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris, Enno Wiebe had been working on European projects like HyRail (Hydrogen Propulsion), GREEN (Diesel engines), Railenergy (Energy Efficiency for the rail sector) and Cleaner-D (Stage IIIB for the rail sector) among others.
Besides the work for the European projects, Enno Wiebe was in charge of writing the two ERRAC Roadmaps ”Energy and “Noise & Vibration”. He had been deeply involved in exploiting rail research projects in terms of standardisation potentials as SSC (UIC/UNIFE TecRec Standards Steering Committee) secretary. Enno Wiebe is a civil engineer who started his prof. career at the Deutsche Bahn engineering dep. in Cologne after studying in Dresden and Cape Town.

Simone Danieli
Sales Export Support for Saira Electronics (previously FAR Systems) products and systems. I'm graduate in Telecommunications Engineering on 1996, then I began a 10 years experience at Siemens Mobile Communications company based in Milan (Italy), employed at R&D division for Mobile Communications Networks (GSM, GSMR and UMTS) with the role of Testing Engineer in the System Test department. In the period 2008-2011 I worked by Alstom Transport Italy, site of Verona, with the role of System Engineer and Field Support for telecommunications networks related to Signalling & Interlocking systems. In early 2011 I joined Saira Electronics (at that time FAR SYSTEMS) in the Sales Department, with the role of Sales Engineers and Sales Support for the export, with particular regard to European markets. I have been deeply involved on customer relations and tenders on the subject of Energy Measurement and Energy Management.

Bart Van der Spiegel

Bart Van der Spiegel started in 1992 as engineer designing the power distribution for Belgian railways. Since 2005 focus has shifted towards the integration of an open energy market into an open railway market. He has been active on all European workgroups regarding the measuring of energy consumption on-board of trains and on the exchange of related data. He is member of Eress Steering Board. Energy meters enable energy savings. The biggest energy saving is likely possible by connecting Traffic Management Systems with Driving Advisory Systems or Automatic Train Operations.

Pengling Wang
Pengling is from China and now studying in the Netherlands as a PhD candidate. For the past 10 years, Pengling have studied extensive knowledge about railway system including traction power system, train traction drive system, railway operation management and train operation optimization. Pengling loves mathematics, cooking, sport and music.

Evamarie Wießner

Evamarie Wießner graduated from Dresden University of Technology in 2015 with a diploma in Transportation Engineering. During her university time she did internships in different companies, e.g. TomTom, Siemens, Knorr-Bremse and worked as student assistant at the Chair of Traffic Control Systems and Process Automation in Dresden.
Since 2015 Evamarie has been working at the Institute of Transportation Systems (DLR, Brunswick and Berlin) focusing on intelligent transportation systems, automatic train operation and intermodal traffic simulation.

Michael Bares
Head of Traction Power and Key Account Management ÖBB-Infrastruktur, Austria Since 2012 Michael Bares is the Head of the Key Account Management and traction power of the business unit Railway Systems at the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG) and has been active in the railway sector since 2008. He is responsible for the sales and metering part of energy in Austria as well as energy services in an international context, especially CEE.

Roberto Bonomi
Born and raised in Italy, married with 2 sons.
After my study in Electronics and Telecom, I started my career as hardware developer and as project engineer in the industrial automation business. In 1989 I started to work in the railway industry. I spent more than 7 years in Alstom as R&D manager. I joined Far-Systems and later Saira Electronics as Technical Director and from 2010 as Head of Sales and Business Developer. I joined in 2015 CIESSE SpA, as Marketing as Sales Manager in the RAILware electronics division aimed to offer advanced solutions for Energy management and Communication for the railway market.
I’m a passionate in my job and like to develop international relationships to promote innovative solution and technology. I worked for years in projects in EU, US and Far East. My strong tech background helps me to understand the needs and to support the customers in a long term perspective.

John Hegarty
John Hegarty is currently working as Programme Manager for Energy Metering at SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways and since 2013 responsible for a 5-year programme to equip all of SBBs vehicles with energy metering equipment for billing and energy efficiency management purposes. Previously he held different management functions within SBB Infrastructure and before that in a number of different companies within the telecommunications sector. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Ireland and a Master of Public Policy & Management from the University of London.

Rami Huovinen
Senior Service Architect, currently working as a Project Manager for the Finnish Transport Agency. He has a M.Sc. degree in software engineering, and a technical background from working as a software developer and technical consultant. During the last 10 years he has been managing various IT services and software projects, focusing on the railways since 2013.

Iiris Saarenpää
Service Architect, working for Finnish Transport Agency She has studied Information and Knowledge Management in Tampere University of Technology. To complete a M.Sc. degree, she is currently writing her Master of Science thesis “Challenges that Can Obstruct Standardization Efforts of Railway Energy Settlement Information System”. She has participated in various international projects since 2013.

Ian Papworth
After a number years in senior positions in the automotive supply industry, Ian has worked for 14 years in RUs, mainly as Engineering / Fleet Director appointments. The last was with ATOC as their Engineering Director, which encompassed a number of work streams, such as Fleet Reliability, Sustainability, the ‘Future Railway’, participating in a number of European forums. Ian has been engaged with TTG for a number of years, helping to progress the S-DAS, C-DAS and the linkage into Traffic Management Systems.

Mohammad Koteich
IT responsible in Eress, developing and operating the common Erex IT system for the settlement of energy for train companies. The role involves the following tasks: Analyze and evaluate the appropriateness of today's IT architectures, and initiate and follow up change processes. Responsible for developing basic principles, strategies and solutions. Define system development specifications. Responsible for technical concepts and their ongoing development as part of an iterative project approach. Establish a process for IT architecture management and follow up the implementation.
