Matthias Sterckx, Complexity Reduction Coordinator @ B Logistics

“Since May 2015, I am working as a Complexity Reduction Coordinator at Blogistics. More specifically, this job encloses all kind of optimization projects within the company. This function fits perfectly with my studies as a business engineer in which I did several similar projects. I graduated with a specified master in operations management (cum laude). In the first 6 months at Blogistics, my job was to lift the planned and actual driver efficiency to a higher level. Afterwards, I became the project leader of the ECO-driving initiative within the company. My master thesis (in which I researched Dynafleet, a mobile app developed by Volvo Trucks to reduce diesel consumption) provided me interesting background info to carry out this project successfully.”
